Current membership is 28.  Membership Committee members look after the health and well being of our members.  Members are contacted on their birthdays and when they are not well.    Recruitment of new members is  a role of this committee as well as all members.

Activites for Youth & Community

  • Helping with street collections for Pink Ribbon Day, Daffodil Day, Red PuppyTrust, Blind Foundation
  • Recycling used eyeglasses
  • Recycling used stamps
  • Collecting Kan Tabs and wine bottle tops for Kidney Kids
  • Emergency toiletry bags for the local Wairarapa Hospital
  • Homemade biscuits to elderly - 4 packets twice a month 
  • Helping with Literacy Programme at school
  • Reading to 5 year old at schools.
  • Knitted slippers and vests for Red Cross
  • Knitted Bedsocks for elderly via District Nurses
  • "Town & Around" drive for elderly "Home Alone" and Afteroon tea at members Glenys home and gardens
  • Knitted Red Poppies for ANZAC Displays.
