    Woodville, that small community just east of the (now closed) Manawatu Gorge, is well known for its traders, cheesecakes, and just possibly the largest Santa Parade in all of rural New Zealand. Once again, village locals and their visitors will thrill to the rumble and roar of up to five hundred motorcycles, as the Coast to Coast ride joins the village’s famous annual Christmas parade on Saturday 9 December, starting at Himitangi Beach at 9.15am.
  • Monster Garage Sale brings a whopper smile to Woodville Lions.

    Woodville’s changeable winter weather proved no dampener on their inaugural Monster Garage Sale, held in the village Events Centre on Vogel Street. Having experienced a major fundraising decline, due to constraint over its hugely successful 24-year Track and Tunnel Adventure Walk event, the boys were keen to create new projects to help “bridge the gap” in our community service programme.
