The Lions Club of Kowhai Coast meets every 2nd (Businessmeeting at 7pm) and 4th Monday (Dinner Meeting at 6.30pm) at the RSA Neville St. Warkworth. We have a membership of 27 ladies and are actively involved in our local community in a variety of ways. We also join with the Warkworth and Wellsford Lions Clubs for some projects and social occasions.

Some of our fundraising projects that we take part in are:-  holding a Fashion Parade with our Lions as models, running a Quiz night, various Charity Collections, the usual Sausage Sizzle, Christmas and Easter Raffles and our most recent and successful one is having a Treemendous Xmas Tree display in Warkworth.  All of the funds we raise go to local causes, such as St. John's Ambulance, The Westpac Chopper, Coastguard, Women's Refuge and we help the schools in the area as well.
