We put in a table to support the Mad Hatters Tea Party fundraiser for Conductive Education. We would like to hold an event in the not too near future to raise money for this life changing therapy for Taranaki children currently having to travel to Hamilton for this therapy. Hundreds gathered under the torrid Taranaki sun at the weekend for an enchanting trip to the fantasy world of Mad Hatters, secret doors and magic snacks. A money-spinner for the Conductive Education Taranaki Trust, the Mad Hatter's Tea Party was held on Sunday at Oak Valley Gardens on Junction Rd, New Plymouth. About 120 people attended each of the day's three sittings, which saw a throng of performers bring to life Lewis Carroll's novel Alice in Wonderland while guests relished the themed food, stalls, music and a silent auction.
