2018 MD202 ConventionPalmerston North27-29 April, 2018 |
The Lions Club of Middle Districts on behalf of the Lions of 202D invite you to make your way to Palmerston North, be it by air, by train or by road. We will celebrate the start of the second century of our organisation in style. Palmerston North is easy to get to and easy to get around. Our city is home to centres of higher education and innovation and you will find plenty to do and enjoy in our city and surroundings. |

Palmy is home to great cafes and restaurants, art galleries, top-class golf courses, cycle tracks, theatre companies and is surrounded by magnificent bush walks suitable for all ages. Come and enjoy the Gorge Walk and have a look at the wind farm, which produces sustainable energy to drive our country. For those who prefer a quiet stroll, we have The Square and our beautiful Victoria Esplanade, with its Rose Garden and native bush alongside the Manawatu River. The Esplanade is also home to the Wildbase Recovery Centre. | ![]() |
The Organising Committee is assembling a very interesting programme for Lions and partners. All in a very central location near The Square. Come and get inspired by our keynote speaker. We have secured a high-profile keynote speaker to open our Convention. So, don’t delay. Come and join us in Palmerston North!
