Waikanae Lions has  been around since 1973.  Currently we have 49 plus members  who come from all walks of life. We are an enthusiastic bunch and enjoy good company and having fun while helping our community.

Please have a look at our website (including the attached brochure) and see the range of things we get up to!

The Club has a very proud history of supporting  the Waikanae community which enjoys a high level of participation in our projects,  whether it be the giant  Super Garden Trail, our garage sale or the fertiliser drive that has distributed on average 11 tonne of fertiliser to Waikanae gardeners in the last few years.... no bull!

In addition to our own specific projects, we also strongly participate in the annual combined Kapiti Lions Book Fair which has available in excess of 40,000 books for sale in October of each year.

As part of our continual drive to attract new members to our club, in 2015 we produced a promotional brochure. This brochure can be viewed by following the link below:

If you enjoy new friends, social occasions and helping others then come and join us. We will make you  most welcome.  Enquiries can be made to any of our Executive members listed in the CONTACTS on this page.

Hope you enjoy reading the material on our website.
