Megan Phillips, Plunket’s Community Co-coordinator, attended the April tea meeting of the North Otago Lions Club, where she was presented with knitted woolen blankets, new born baby singlets, woolen booties and hats. She will distribute these among North Otago families with babies and young children. She commented that 200+ babies are born into the North Otago area and that all the knitting will be well received by families, especially as the colder weather is fast approaching.

The knitters within the North Otago Lions Club have spent 100's of hours knitting but get great satisfaction at being able to support such a worthy organization as Plunket and in turn help our most precious and valuable our babies.

If anyone has spare wool even small part balls (must be 100% wool) that you would like to donate.  It can be left at BNZ.
