The Lions Club of Blenheim was chartered in 1963 and recently held its 50th Annivirsary, to this day membership still includes one of that pioneering group.

Our mixed gender membership hovers around 50 which makes us one of the larger clubs in the Top of the South and while predominately of the grey brigade are always on the lookout for new members of a younger generation. Having said that we believe we punch above our weight and complete projects successfully of a quite demanding nature.

The club enjoys a high profile in the Blenheim community and it is the combination of community service in an environment of fellowship which knits our club together.

Tea Meetings are held fortnightly at the old Marlborough Club Russell Terace  on the second and 4th Wednesday of the month, except January, commencing 5.30 for fellowship and meal at 6pm.

Projects of an annual nature include Wine and Food  Festival marshalling, Fertiliser Fiesta, Phone Books delivery and Mistletoe Market to name a few.

While membership of a Lion's Club is by way of invitation we welcome enquiries from anyone interested in what we do and in the first instance such enquiries should be directed to Charles Riley Tel 035780109.
